At Vidant Medical Center since 2008, John's unique background in pharmacy and business allows him to understand the needs of both the pharmacist and the hospital. When asked about what's next for the Vidant Medical Center Pharmacy Department, John adds, "I'll do all in my power to help pharmacy at Vidant Medical Center to continue to excel. I'll help identify and achieve the next level in pharmaceutical care."

As leader of pharmacy services, he ensures the continued vibrancy and relevance of the Mission, Vision and Values of Vidant Medical Center. Like many at the hospital, John also played an integral role in the preparation and launch of the East Carolina Heart Institute.
