Kathey Rumley: Pharmacy Practice Residency Director
Kathey came to Vidant Medical Center in August of 1995 after completing a pharmacy practice residency at Duke University Medical Center. Currently, she is a clinical pharmacist in internal medicine, the education specialist for the pharmacy department and the pharmacy practice residency director.

“My work with the residency program is the most rewarding aspect of my career. I absolutely love having the opportunity to expose our residents to the myriad of opportunities available in the world of pharmacy. It is so fulfilling to see the excitement in their eyes as they discover what area of pharmacy they are passionate about and to know that you played an active role in the pursuit of that passion.”
